HASTA CAR RENTAL (JM0876380-T) RENTAL AGREEMENT

Rates

Rental rates are charge for 24 hours (1 day) rental or minimum of 12 hours rental will be consider as 1-day rental. Additional hours will be calculated at 1/12 of the daily rate, per hour up to a maximum of 12 hours. Rates include minimum mileage of 500km per day, maintenance routine and replace car breakdown (if car got problem on road because of car maintenance only). Rates are in Ringgit Malaysia (RM). Rates are subject to change without prior notice.

Driver's Age and License Requirements

The renter and additional drivers must be between 21 to 61 years old for all car category vehicles and in possession of a valid national or International Driving License. Other nationals who hold a valid driving license in English can drive in Malaysia for a maximum of 3 months. Probational license holders will not be accepted. 

Terms of Payment / Secure Booking (30% Of Total Rental Price)/No Deposit

All rentals are subject to a secure booking payment of 30% from the total rental price. Balance rental are pay on the date of delivery car which are 70% from the total rental price.Our company accepts the PayPall or international bank transfer. Debit card and Cash deposits are accepted. Debit card or cash is accepted as mode of payment at the counter. No deposit will be charged or the customers.

Cancellation Policy

All paid bookings cannot be cancelled and payment made are non-refundable.

Liability Reduction Option (LRO)

The renter shall be held responsible for all damages caused to the vehicle, including theft regardless of fault. In the event of an any accident, the renter has agreed to accept the LRO and make a police report within 24 hours from the time of the accident or theft (please inform our office before doing the police report). Our company shall be entitled to charge the renter an excess fee which is in accordance to the following table ("Excess Fee"). Upon the renter's acceptance and subject to the terms and conditions stipulated in the Rental Agreement, the renter's liability is limited to the Excess Fee.

Navigation System (GPS)

The renter can also add Navigation System (GPS) devices to all car rentals. Daily rental at RM25 and a maximum of RM250 will be charged per rental transaction. In the event of theft or damage to the GPS device, the renter will be subjected to an excess fee up to a maximum of RM 700.00.

Fuel

Hasta Car Rental does not provide full tank only request full tank will be provided and must be returned the same fuel level. Otherwise the renter will be charged for a refill upon return based on 1 bar RM20.

Parking Fees And Traffic Fines

The Renter is liable for all parking and traffic fines incurred for the duration of the rental. An additional RM70 administration fee will be charged to the renter over and above any fine and penalty cost for any violation arising from the renter's use of vehicle. Our company retains the right to charge against the renter's charge if and when payment is due for traffic fines committed by the renter, upon receiving notification from the government authorities.

Extension Of Rental

Should the renter wish to extend the rental or appoint any additional drivers, it is compulsory to advise us immediately to facilitate the extension of the insurance coverage. Penalty will be charged if the extension notices less than 12 hours.

Vehicle Condition

Upon return, the car has to be in the same condition as when it was rented. Failing which, the renter will be liable for the cost of restoring the vehicle to its original condition.

Surcharge

To meet reservations after operating hours, Malaysia/State Public Holidays a fee of RM30 will be levied.

Restricted Entry

Hasta vehicles cannot be driven into Singapore, Thailand, Brunei and Indonesia. Subsequently Hasta vehicles are prohibited from being loaded onto other modes of transportation via sea, river and air for usage from mainland to Langkawi, Tioman, Redang, Pangkor island etc.

Prohibited Odours

All items and goods discharging unpleasant odours are strictly forbidden from being carried in the vehicle (e.g. Durians, salted fish etc). The renter will be liable to reimburse Hasta on demand for all costs of eliminating such odours, including the servicing of the whole air conditioner system and the loss of rental days to Hasta. Please be advised that smoking in Hasta vehicles is strictly prohibited.
